They're all good Japanese RPGs if you're into that kinda thing. Eternal Sonata is a fever dream had by Fredric Chopin where he expires a rich world with too many music puns. Star Ocean 4 is about humans discovering warp drive technology and their exploration of the universe. Star Ocean 4 and Eternal Sonata - Star ocean 1 was originally made by a team that used to work on tales of series. It has gameplay videos on YouTube, but it is a cross between open world, and the normal Tales of battles. Zesteria (Summer 2015) - I don't know much about this because I haven't played it, but it's another Tales of game and I thoroughly enjoy the series. If you haven't played either yet, its a good deal. There's also a monster catching system that's kinda cool.

The characters from the first are back, the art style is better, and the battles are better. Launch retroarch for the first time, go to updates and download all updates except cheats. You play as Emil in a newly changed world due to the events of the first game. I enjoyed it still (on Wii, haven't played the remake yet). Symphonia 2 isn't terrible, but not as good as the first. Great story, older battle system (still fun), and it just keeps going and going. It's an older game, but it's definitely a good one. Amazing battles, terrible story, besides that it's fun. If you can get over the cheesy story (its awful) this game has like 7 difficulty levels and its incredibly hard at the hardest one. But, it has the most complex and exciting battle system out of all of the Tales of games. The story is incredibly cheesy and friendship and love is mentioned way too often.
A world of 3 countries on the verge of war, you play as the son of a lord who meets a mysterious girl when playing with his brother. Graces f - An HD remake of a previously Japanese only Wii game. You get to play as the whole cast from the first one too! Fun battles, decent sequel, no huge complaints. If you enjoyed the first a lot, you'll enjoy this one. You follow Ludger, a young man who aspires to be a special agent of a well known entity. Xillia 2 - Picks up a year from the events of the pervious game. The world and art style are pretty good and it's one of my favorite tales of games. You play as a medical student or as the Lord of the spirits herself. Xillia - The story of a world where spirits and humans live in harmony. I recommend all of them because I enjoy the anime art style and the real time battles. Here's a quick description of each game on PS3. I'd give you an example but I'm on a phone. They all have similar, especially their battles, which are real time action battles you get put into when you touch an enemy. Download and load the latest PS3 games and enjoy. Open the emulator after the successful installation.
